Prayer and it’s Power

A warm hello to you all and I am hoping that good things are happening in your lives. I wanted to make sure that I took a moment to let all of you know that the monthly words that I will be sharing are indeed intended for all. My words will not recognize any religion, race, socio-economic status, gender or sexual preference. My immediate intention is to nurture your spirit. My ultimate goal however is to enable you to be more spiritually conscious and embrace that part of you that is purely spiritual every day. We are all multi dimensional and complex individuals and at the heart of our complexity is our spirit. This spirit must be in harmony so that we can function at an optimal level. It is within this harmony that we are able to think, wonder and to soar. Now let’s get to this months topic because I want to see how high you can soar.

Prayer and its Power.

Hello to you all. I Hope that your Journey has been a productive one so far. I also hope that the destinations that you have stopped at along the way so far have given you some very important lessons about yourself, people and the world. The thing to do now is to make those lessons a part of who you are and not just things that you have done.
I feel that it is time for me to talk to you about a very important principle called prayer. I have dedicated an entire chapter in my first book Divine Essays from The Spirit Within on prayer. The principal of prayer and understanding it is a very important element for any individual that is aware and conscious of their spirituality.
The first thing that I want you to know is that prayer is important because it is the way in which we communicate our desires to God. It is the way in which we share the things that are on our heart. These things can be things about our personality that we need to change. These things can also be what we desire for our selves with regard to a better quality of life. Also the things that we pray about can be about the things that we desire for other people. Those people can be people that we have intimate relationships with, people that we encounter in life or our spiritual, political and social leaders.
Most importantly Prayer not only is the way in which we communicate with God and express the desires of our heart to God. Prayer is one of the ways in which God communicates and expresses the desires that He/She has for each and every one of us. This communication is very significant because it is during this time that we are given the life changing information that will lead us to a life that is marked by peace, joy, prosperity and happiness. It is during prayer that Gods arms us with the tools that we need in order to do battle in this hostile world. There are going to be many things that we have to deal with in life. When you have been armed by God the way in which you deal with these things is different and the impact that these things have on your life is minimal. Your life is going to be marked by many challenges. I do not want you to think that prayer is the only way in which God communicates with us because it is not. The voice of God speaks to us through many other ways also. Prayer happens to be the way in which an intimacy between God and us is established.
Remember to take time out of each and every day to practice prayer. I recommend that you do it as often as you can. You will soon discover a power that you have not been able to tap in to before. When you do your journey will be even more enriching.

Peace and Soul
